Therapeutic Integrative Counsellor (Dip Couns. MBACP)
Empathic Supportive Empowering
I believe that as human beings, we are wired to connect — with ourselves, with others and with the world around us. When those connections are strained or unclear, it can affect our sense of wellbeing, identity and purpose.
Counselling provides a space to reimagine and rebuild those connections, in your own time and in your own way.
Whether you’re facing a particular challenge, perhaps feeling stuck or experiencing overwhelm, I’m here to help you make sense of things and move towards greater clarity, resilience and self-understanding.

I am a qualified, BACP registered counsellor, with a number of years of experience working in the mental health field, supporting adults as well as children and young people.
I offer a confidential and non-judgemental space, where you can explore whatever is on your mind.
Whatever brings you here, you’re not alone. Reaching out is a meaningful first step, and I’m here to walk alongside you as we explore what matters most to you.
My approach is integrative, meaning I draw from a range of therapeutic models to suit your individual needs. These may include
I am able to work with clients aged 14 and over.
I hold a Level 4 qualification in Integrative Counselling and am also a qualified Non Violent Resistance facilitator. I regularly undertake further professional development and have training in online counselling, supporting neurodivergent clients and polyvagal theory, amongst others.
Supportive guidance for calm, connected and empowered parenting—especially in the face of challenging behaviour.
Parenting can be one of the most rewarding—and most difficult—roles we ever take on. When conflict escalates or a child’s behaviour begins to feel unmanageable, it can leave even the most loving parents feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or stuck in cycles of stress and reaction. This may be something you are experiencing at home or, perhaps, you hold a sense that you are just not able to be the parent you want to be.
As a trained practitioner grounded in the principles of Non Violent Resistance (NVR), I work with parents to rebuild calm, unity and direction in their parenting journey. Whether you are co-parenting within the same household or across two, NVR offers tools that help you stay connected to your values while reducing escalation and resistance at home.

Non Violent Resistance is a relationship-focused approach that empowers parents to respond with presence, persistence, and compassion—rather than control or coercion.
NVR is not about letting go of boundaries, but about learning how to support them non-aggressively and consistently, without entering power struggles.
I have extensive experience supporting families where neurodivergence is part of the picture—whether that includes Autism, ADHD, PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance), sensory processing differences, or other cognitive profiles. These parenting journeys often come with added complexity, especially around emotional regulation, transitions, school refusal or meltdowns.
I will offer a respectful and non-pathologizing framework for responding to these dynamics. I will work with you to tailor strategies that honour your child’s unique needs, whilst helping you as a parent to remain grounded, aligned and emotionally available.

I work from my private counselling space in Ramsgate and see clients from Thanet and the surrounding areas.
I am able to offer both face to face and online sessions for clients within the UK. My offer includes both week day, evening and weekend appointments, subject to availability.
